Kofi or Vulcanite Beads Bracelets

Vulcanite is an early rubber product made in Europe. Folklore had it that these thin beads were made from old record albums but that is a myth. These old Vulcanite beads are most popular in certain tribes of Africa, such as the Mossi of northern Ghana and Burkina Faso. These particular beads date back to the early 1900s and were made in Europe and collected in Africa.
